I'm hoping this thread takes off and the R&D people at Bestop will see the demand for it. @Bestop_Team

Please give us a Bestop version of the factory soft top.
1. Something that folds all the way down.
2. Something that can be easily swapped to the hardtop and back.
3. Something that isn't powered or $5k.
4. Something for the 2 door folk as well, but mostly us 4 door people.
5. Something that doesn't make my Bronco a foot taller when I fold it back (i.e. Trektop, sunrider, or whatever that other one is).

That's it.

I'm sure there's some reason you're holding out on us. If it's just because you had to sign an agreement with Ford to become the sole Ford-approved aftermarket vendor, just say that. If it's because Ford won't let you make a version that's too close to the stock top, just say that.

Right now, our only options for those who couldn't get a dual top are to buy a used OEM one, then try to hunt down the backordered brackets, to buy a Trektop (which some of us don't care for), or to buy that Havoc offroad thing.

I WANT TO GIVE YOU MY MONEY!!!! I loved every single Bestop product for every Jeep that I had, and I'd like to do the same with my Bronco. Please... let me give you my money!

I agree, but dont expect a response. For whatever reason, BT refuses to give us what we've been asking for from the beginning. I'll keep my $$... I would be happy for transparency as to why they choose to ignore the various product requests (top that folds back all the way, non slant back, tan and other colors, etc...). It's not like what is being asked for isn't currently offered for jeeps...

For whatever reason just doesn't seem in the cards from Bestop. Probably not enough competition these days to drive product changes.

They have been told by a lot of people several times, what we want and would like to see available…..so far nothing even close to what has been requested.

Doesnt seem like they want to make what your asking for.

I have a used factory soft top in great condition and all hardware if interested.

They posted this 6 months back: https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/thre...ou-like-to-see-on-our-6th-gen-products.98689/

Just been patiently waiting to see what they come up with
Man... I missed that one. It's sort of disheartening to see that it's been 6 months without even a bit of "here's what we're working on".

The latest product they have (the e-top) wasn't even an original design. It came from a completely different manufacturer and Bestop just bought the design from them. It's like Bronco R&D has ceased completely.

I'd consider it, but KS is a hike from where I'm at. There's a few posted locally, but I'm still hoping that Bestop can come up with an improved version of the OEM top.

I remain hopeful that Bestop will put out a tan or black 2 door version that will fold down.

They have a long history of producing quality products and unfortunately for me (with a 2 door) I'm not a part of the low hanging fruit.

I am enjoying my Sunrider for now.

These are some good folks. People: they are under licensing agreements....that's just how it is. So it limits what they can offer until those expire. Be kind.

Yeah, 6 months might not be long enough of a wait for R&D, figured I'd give them a year. Plus whenever they release a 2 door soft top I'd be interested in, I'd probably wait another 6 months to a year before buying it anyways, so I'm in no rush.
