***Beware of Instagram scammer selling used parts***

Unfortunately I fell victim to a supposed used bronco parts seller on IG. I saw a modular bumper, bull bar, and skid plate posted on the site. The scammer has over 18K followers so I thought it was legit. I got scammed and lost $900. The instagram site was bronco_oem_parts (see photo). When he started asking me for additional money I knew it was a scam, but had already lost my money.

Zelle. I reported it to my bank as fraud, but it is doubtful they can get it back.

I'll only do PayPal from now on. If they don't take PayPal, or sell through Amazon or ebay I don't trust it anymore. Good luck

One rule of thumb I go by, if their IG name has the word "parts" its usually fake. I have yet to see a legit one.

sadly Zelle is usually gone. I love Zelle, but it's gone once it leaves your account.

looking at the page, I think he follows me but I don't follow him back. That said, Exodus4x4 follows him too, as do a few other well known names...I'd make sure to report to Instagram. But wow he spent all that time amazzing 18k followers for a few hundred bucks?

That sucks, I only buy locally in person or through people that have had proven successful transactions in the past. But even that is not 100%

the bronco.parts_ account is also a scam. Thankfully I was able to fight and win through my credit card.
