I basically followed this thread. It's a warn evo 10k winch and yes an RC high mount. I haven't reinforced the frame horns. Sadly @Tricky Mike seems to not be selling his anymore, but I might at some point. I haven't had to use it yet, but the issues I've heard of were some relatively extreme situations. since this is my daily driver I have fun, but don't go too crazy. Thanks for the advice on the warranty!
I recommend Metal Tech now.

Just got them installed by Discount Tire. I've got a while 10 miles on them, but way quieter than the factory Goodyears. I'm taking them out to AoAA the weekend after Labor Day and will report back! What's peoples opinion on the Discount Tire warranty?

How stiff/harsh does the load range F feel like compared to the Goodyears?

They aired them down to 35 and are riding way smoother. I took a run at a short gravel road near work and it was really smooth. There's a little more rolling inertia than the factory goodyears. But so far super happy with them.

My Goodyears are just about toast. Looks like the 315 K03s are now available. The question is do I hold out for the 35 K03s?

Ok so I've got 1000 miles on them and just got back from AoAA in Pennsylvania where I did a recovery course and part of a Blue trail Ride. Overall really happy with the tires. I've noticed a roughly .5 mpg difference running them at 34 PSI, so 13.9 City 19 Highway as opposed to 14.5 City 19.5 highway with the territories at 39 PSI. Road noise is significantly better than the stock Goodyears.

The mud handling is excellent. It was actively raining and we went into some nasty bogs they handled it great. The first time our trainer tried to get us stuck I powered through and he had to have me come in 90 degrees on the path I'd just carved to high center. Throughout the training tire performance wasn't an issue, we only cot stuck from body geometry.

Rock crawling was just fine. We lost a bead, but it popped back in no problem once we got the car jacked up enough. We didn't do a ton of crawling since the trail was beating up the bash plates a little more than I was comfortable with, but again it was never grip that was a problem, it was always getting hung up on control arm or diff housing.

My buddy got them on his Jeep right before our trip to Ouray, CO. He has long used the KO2s. He did not notice what he would call a big difference between the KO2 and KO3. I think one of the differences is supposed to be longer life of the tire, but that will be a wait and see as more people get to 50k+ miles on the tires.
