This weekend we had a much larger than expected turnout for a group run with our Arizona Broncos Facebook Group and Arizona Broncos B6G Group. We ran the Montana Mountain Loop outside Superior, Arizona. It is a 29 mile loop that you could categorize as a Moderate trail with little bit of everything. There was Water, Mud, Dust, some intermediate obstacles, shelf roads and switchbacks. This trail has just about as much variation as you could ask for, especially this time of year in Arizona.
We had a group that included 27 Gen 6 Broncos (all trims from Base to Raptor), 2 Jeeps (including a 392), and two Tacos that joined us near the beginning of the trail. With such a large group behind me, I was a little concerned about communication and separation and jamming up the trail for others. This group did a great job staying relatively close together and even helped one another when help was needed. Only real issue we had along the trail was a Flat tire that the group jumped in to action to change.
We had a few side by sides that had to wait for us to pass but nobody seemed too concerned and most were actually excited to see us all out on the trail. Great time was had by all!
Credit where Credit is due... Thanks to Austin Denvey for the Drone video along with Brad, Carol, Jennie, Michael and anyone else' photos that I have put in here.
