Job 1 is May 3rd, but Phase 1 Mass Production begins March 29th.

I'd say that Ford's CEO retweeting an article written off of my post is pretty decent confirmation, but to each their own.

Edit to add: The March 29th date was cascaded to leadership on Friday morning, so it's quite likely it hasn't been fully communicated to MAP staff yet.

So, what does this mean for us plebians? I "buy things" for a living but this doesn't make sense to me.

No your ok. That build is only going to be around 500 units, then obviously depending on suppliers and parts we are scheduled to go job 1 full production first week of may

Starting March 29 they build 500 units...... take their time, do lots of QA, have a bunch of meetings to discuss, yada yada.
Then starting in May they'll be near full capacity.... maybe 500 units a day.
We'll know for sure, soon.
