We organized this one through Broncos of the Carolinas.
There is a group on here for them, they have a Facebook page, and an actual BOC forum.

Next Uwharrie ride is scheduled for June 25. Be at the Eldorado Outpost to air down/fuel up/snack up and ready to roll out between 9:30 and 10AM.
GMRS radio is a BIG plus. I also run a CB for those with that mode of comms.

I like to have at least someone with comms capacity and experience in the last position to help keep everyone up to speed, keep me posted so we can adjust if needed.
We are also looking forward to doing a Sunday ride or two this summer at some point.

I can count on one hand the amount I’ve seen in Winston-Salem other than mine.

That said, the Wolfpack was well represented with my wife (Meredith alum) and myself (State) on Saturday.

I’ve seen a few around WS/Clemmons. Not a single one has waved at me!

Guy owns a grading/ demo company and had it painted to match his fleet trucks.

My Badlands grill needs to be that color.

I just did a quick search, and I think that is the Badlands grill unpainted. Comes with matte black primer. Looks good here with the base black Bronco letters.

I almost did mine that way, but decided to go with a metallic grey (very similar to Carb Grey MIC but with metallic flake and more depth), and do the outer wrap of it body color.

If and when I do paint mine, if I do a OD green or Desert Tan textured look, I am considering matte blacking out my grille.

I'd probably want to clear coat the primed grill for protection.
I also thought about extending the body color to the outside of the grill, more like the EB.
Ford should have made the Badlands grille MIC to match the handles and flares.

I'll be in Wilmington on the 25th, but either driving back to NY that day or the next. I'll have to schedule a 2 week visit around one of these soon, hopefully Aug.

I need to get a fairly solid list and count, see how many want to do which level of trail, and who all has GMRS capability.
