I was wondering if anyone knew offhand what size tires would clear easily on the Big Bend wheels? I currently have 35's and aftermarket wheels but im considering going back to stock wheels to draw the tires back into the fenderwells. I have the 4wp 2.5 in lift but I suspect the issue may be the beef of the tire rubbing due to the offset rather than the height of the tire.

Also...I am sure there is a thread on this somewhere but the search function is horrible and the sheer volume of threads means it would be hard to find.

The limitation will be the width of the stock rims—which are 7.5".

You'd have to check the tire specs to make sure it fits—it'll vary slightly depending on the sidewall construction and the manufacturer. But you should be able to fit 35x10.5R17 tires on the stock rims.

I put 35’s on stock BB wheels with a 2” lift, I do have a slight rub at full turn, have 1” spacers ordered which should resolve that issue, 35‘s look really good on stock wheels in my opinion….

Mine had 315’s on the stock rims with a 2” spacer lift. No issues with rubbing.

Thanks! They’re the Goodyear Territory MT in 315/70 17.
Cool! How loud are they? Mine are MT's also and are...loud. That's the main reason I was thinking of going back to my stock wheels.

I'm running the 35 x 11.5-17, but on Methods with a +35mm offset.
Seems like the general consensus was 35 x12.5 was fitting with just a slight rub at full lock on factory wheels, non squatch, no lift.
The rub was "just kissing" the sway bar at full lock.
This is one of my favorites...
One of the first, using Ranger wheels ... +55 offset also. https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/thre...-size-tires-ford-ranger-wheels-no-lift.20733/

My baseBase, no lift, does not rub on the street, but at full lock, if it articulates, it will start catching in there somewhere.

for reference:
35 x 11.5 - 17 , Method 17 x 8.5 +35mm offset , Toyo Open Country AT3
No lift.

That would be perfect if so... is this your setup? Any rub at full lock?
That's what I'm going to once they get off backorder on the stock BD steelies.

I don’t think they’re as quiet as the KO2’s, but I don’t consider them loud. The wind noise from the seam in the hard top is much more distracting thank the tire noise…😄

I’m not a big fan of Goodyear but I’d buy the MT again before ever buying another Nitto tire. Had a set on my 4Runner that were obnoxiously loud from day 1 and only got worse.
