Thanks to great info from others on the forum, I'm going with the Bilstein 5100's on my non-SAS BD 4 door. I'm getting 315/70R17 KO2s on the +30 RTR wheels. I'm debating between having the Bilsteins set at 1 inch or 1.5 inches of lift. I know it's a small difference. But I'd like to keep it low to reduce stress on the vehicle components. I was also never a fan of excess space in the wheel well visually. I live in LA with low garages and my Bronco spends about 90-95% of its operating hours on road. But I do hit the vast number of trails we have in the southwest about every 2-3 weeks (including Moab and hopefully Rubicon soon). With this set up - would a 1 inch lift on the Bilsteins be plenty for moderate off-roading (level 6-7 trails) on the 35's without rubbing at flex? Or do I reall yneed to be safe and go with 1.5"? I know the SAS is 1.1 inches. I didnt know if the different shock/spring setup on the SAS matters. Thanks in advance!
