BILSTEIN 6112's on a Non SAS 2 Door, Very Confused

I did this same thing. But I started as non SAS. Got the 6100s and ordered the ford oem SAS springs. Reused top hats and bump stops. If you are comfortable doing this yourself that is the way to go. There are many different oem spring rates, you can find what you need or just get exact part numbers that match your vehicle. The preload is adjustable which I like. You may need to do install twice to dial in your ride height. I am on lowest setting.

otherwise go with ford performance. Same thing just preload is not adjustable and everything is pre assembled. Just install. Less hassle but also less flexibility. You get what you get wrt ride height. They have only two sets of springs. 4 door or 2 door.

My only compliant with the FP Kit, which I have and am happy with, is the lack of 2.3l or 2.7l difference.

My OBX Lux with the 2.7l steel bumper, steel skids, etc, is way heavier than a base 2.3l with plastic.

But even with all that weight, you were still gaining 2"? I have a set sitting in the box that I'm hoping to install later this year (still shopping for other items to do all at once). My OBX (HIGH) with the 2.3L has a front and rear steel bumper and OEM steel skids.

what made you decide on 3rd ring in front and 2 in back? Trial and error or luck? curious as I’m about to order these but have 2 dr Badlands SAS and keeping 35’s so was thinking 3 all around

The chart in the Bilstein paperwork, figured in the extra weight of the bumper and winch, decided to go up one ring higher in the front to compensate for the weight of those and pretty much hit my desired lift spot on.

I paid $1700 through Levittown.

They come assembled with Sasquatch springs and top hats. The spring rates and valving are perfect.

No height adjustment like you said, but for an OOTB 2” lift they are my favorite choice.

I’m thinking of buying the fp. I have a 2 door base on 33” tires. Yours looks great. In person will I. E able to notice a big improvement in height? Wife wants to know if it will ride smoother than stock on highway. Appreciate your feedback.
