My only compliant with the FP Kit, which I have and am happy with, is the lack of 2.3l or 2.7l difference.I did this same thing. But I started as non SAS. Got the 6100s and ordered the ford oem SAS springs. Reused top hats and bump stops. If you are comfortable doing this yourself that is the way to go. There are many different oem spring rates, you can find what you need or just get exact part numbers that match your vehicle. The preload is adjustable which I like. You may need to do install twice to dial in your ride height. I am on lowest setting.
otherwise go with ford performance. Same thing just preload is not adjustable and everything is pre assembled. Just install. Less hassle but also less flexibility. You get what you get wrt ride height. They have only two sets of springs. 4 door or 2 door.
My OBX Lux with the 2.7l steel bumper, steel skids, etc, is way heavier than a base 2.3l with plastic.
