Ford Bronco Bilstein B8 8112 Coilover Kit | Now Available at Panda Motorworks Bronco B8 8112 Kit GFX

Bilstein 21-24 Ford Bronco B8 8112 Suspension Shock Absorber and Coil Spring Assembly (Full Kit)

The new 2021+ Ford Bronco is a menace on the trails, but its on-road manners leave something to be desired. BILSTEIN developed its B8 8112 ZoneControl CR DSA+ remote reservoir coilovers as the complete solution for improving ride quality and capability over any surface. Its ZoneControl CR position-sensitive damping features three compression zones and two rebound zones. Dual Speed Adjustable Compression (the "C" in CR) with adjustable jounce cut-off prevents harsh bottoming out through a 2-stage internal compression stop, eliminating the need for an external hydraulic bump stop. The Rebound ("R" in CR) has a secondary stop to steadily release spring energy after intense compression, so external limit straps are not required. Adjustment is key, with two click adjuster knobs to control low and high-speed compression, and threaded spring seats for fine-tuning ride height between 0 and 3.3" of lift over stock.

Features:
  • Position-sensitive damping (ZoneControl CR)
  • Triple-piston design for comfort and control
  • Independently adjustable low and high-speed compression
  • Adjustable ride height using threaded spring seat (0"–3.3")
Full kit includes

Right Front

The picture shows a 2dr w/Sas (WT?). This is for both 2dr and 4dr? What doesn't it fit?

That's interesting. Non-Sas too? How did they do that? Does it require upgrading UCA etc? Or are they direct replacements?
They are direct replacements. Lift height will just vary about an inch between SAS and non SAS, due to the SAS already lifted from the factory.

No they do not require UCA, but they are strongly recommended when lifting over 2.5"

In which direction for Sas, 2" or 4" lift? Or is it Non-Sas is only 2"?

Non-SasquatchBadlands non-SasSasquatch
2-Door Front2.4"1.2" - 2.0"0.6" - 1.7"
2-Door Rear2.8"2.1" - 2.9"1.0" - 1.7"
4-Door Front1.7" - 2.6"0.7" - 2.0"0 - 1.4"
4-Door Rear2.7" - 3.3"1.6" - 2.2"0.5" - 1.0"

Bilstein intended these to be used for 35s, but you could probably use them with 37s if you max out that lift. And if you do... probably will want UCAs.

EDIT-- I don't know where the Panda folks are getting 3.3" lift from, the numbers I pulled above are from Bilstein's spec sheet. EDIT2-- It is 3.3" lift for the rear only on non-Sasquatch 4-door Broncos. I updated the chart above

I thought you didn't need new UCAs unless you went over 2"? That's a little underwhelming on the back there, too. Seems like they're more likely to squat, but what do I know.

Eh... you're not wrong. I'm being a little picky.

I would consider 2" to be right at the limit and I personally would get new UCAs at anything around 2" or higher. Anything 2.5" or higher, and you definitely need new UCAs. I've seen some people say 3" or higher, but don't agree with that.

Huh, totally different than what they have in their other documentation. Interesting.

I double checked the spec-sheet again, and it indeed lists 2.2" as the max lift. But then I checked in the user manual and they're saying 2.6" max lift.

So now I'm confused. Maybe a difference between "recommended" lift heights and the actual maximum lift height with the suspension?? No idea.

I guess it doesn't matter too much, every one of this lift heights are fine for 35s, which is what they designed the suspension around according to their podcast.

Hmm, I see. Conflicting info going on here 😅 Would like to know what the asterisks next to Typical Lift Heights means.

We will reach out to our rep over at Bilstein for further clarification on this

I watched a video of a Toyota owner installing the 8182’s . He had a spanner tool so I assume you can adjust the height after installed low the Eibach’s?

Yes correct. These will also include a spanner wrench for height adjustment
