So I was concerned too that I’d have to compromise something. But once the Jtop is on (that’s what I ordered) it stays on. No need to ever remove it. It works for soft and hard tops.
it’s a solid design for sure. When it’s closed it just looks like a headliner.
I love your custom print. I believe they feature yours on their website. Well done.

Currently have a soft top and will be getting a hard top as soon as they are available. What is the best option for Jtops?

Good question. It depends on when you will use the hard top.
In most cases the hardtop is used during the fall and winter. Then the shade is not necessary. In the spring it’s time to put the soft top back on.

Switching between the tops is not easy so doing it frequently will will end after you have done it a couple times.

Our experience in the Jeep community shows when a customer has a dual top option is fall and winter hardtop. Spring and summer it’s soft top time!

Hey @JTopsUSA , would you say your product is sturdy enough to have a light insulation blanket above your bimini and the roof on a cold day?

Should not be an issue. We are working on a solution just for that. Ultra lightweight cold and heat barrier.
Watch for it soon!

I have a convertible Saab whose soft top is nice warm and quiet when driving due to a simple foam type lining along it. If you guys make something that can do those things when in-between your sunshade and the hard/soft top that would be HUGE! Still waiting to install my JTOP. Having a hard time loosing the blue sky above me but the sun is starting to get intense here in Utah.

Not sure your particular shade is perfect for my use case, but THIS I will most certainly purchase from you.

Jtop, are there any videos out there that show install? Is there a way to roll any of it back so you can have open air on the quick fly without having to spend 30 mins taking it off?

I didn't like the look of the speaker flap either, but the redesign removed that and looks great. I've had it on for a little over a week now and loving it. Flipping the front flap back to fold and latch the soft top isn't that big of a deal. It's definitely not as quick and easy as having not sun shade up there, and requires me to walk to both sides as I'm closing the top so the latch clears the shade, but it's worth it for the nice tight fit and finish.

Wondering the same thing in terms of rolling it back or removing it. I'm looking to purchase a shade and considering the Jtop from everything I've heard but I don't want it installed permanently... would like to be able to remove or roll it back quickly to still go full open air when I'd like to. Is that possible with the Jtop?
