Thanks all! I think what I’ve gathered from the responses is that while some may have an aftermarket vendor of choice - the Ford products are competitive.

My initial concern was getting hit with a surprise shower while out - thinking the canvas top may be a better purchase. What I think I’ve heard is it really depends on intent - do I want to give up airflow for more slightly more Sun and water protection.

Is there a noticeable difference in noise between the two (mesh and canvas). Sorry rookie here - never owned a jeep and my old landcruisers were either hardtop or nothing.

I have the bimini top on my list once all my pass rewards get posted (missing 220,000 but talking to dealer tomorrow) and was afraid it had no support underneath. Having a crossbar is actually a relief as it is a long distance to cover from front to back. Canvas would be an added value version

I'd just like to thank you for getting the word right, unlike the last 3 posts I've seen calling it a bikini top.
Not sure why they changed the name to Bimini for the New Bronco as in the past they were always Bikini tops for both Jeeps & EB's 🤷‍♂️ Curious if you know why.

I thought it was because nobody wants to put bikini tops on - more interest in taking them off.

Behind what? Bimini tops have always been Bimini tops. Like on a boat. 'Bikini' top is just slang. Because it's funnier that way I suppose.

I think it might even be because it looks like Bestop has Bikini trademarked
