I wish they had allowed BD with Lux, would have been just right for me...

So much this. The BD is perfect for me but I'd be lying if I said I am not going to miss the Lux interior package. I just don't need sway bar disco's and all the other stuff to justify going up to a BL.

The order for my OBX, 2 door, SAS, high, carbonized gray fell through. However, a non SAS, cyber orange, 2 door, mid popped up that I can get next month. Reorder and hold out for my original or take a less expensive and build it up. What say ye?

Unless you legit have a real use (not just in the mind) for the Sas capability, I'd say consider going with the one that popped up, put some 33" tires on it and have fun. Assuming you like the orange color, which will be quite different from the gray.

That would make way too much sense. All about the money which they could have made more money by offering hi ugh and lux with all builds.

Just Do It! Given the current market and Ford’s Follies and Fuchups, you should be able to drive the BD, order the OBX then sell the BD for at least what you paid for it when your 22 or 23 OBX with Painted Top shows up at the dealer.

Oh, you will want the Painted Modular Top instead of the MIC for that OBX when Ford finally gets their chit together.
