I agree. The SAS wheels on the BD look great. Not feeling the steelies and $1000 for the alternate BD wheels ? Nooo not for me.
Question I asked elsewhere w/no answer yet, can I put 33's on the 17x8.5 Sasquatch wheels?

I don't "love" the steelies, but I do like them, but it does surprise me that the "upgraded" alloy ones look even cheaper to me. They look like a Walmart hubcap that you'd put over the steelies.

I'm fine with the steelies though. I'll use them on my winter tires and get some better looking alloys for summer. But even those will have the steelie look to them.

I'm more for the utilitarian look than the fancy look.

Don't see why not. I think 33s look good on normal suspension but 33s with the Sasquatch might look odd, its sooo tall.

I also want to see BD steelies. Full side shot on a 2-door. There is one pic floating around showing the spare. It looks like it's finished in a gloss paint instead of the matte black look shown in the B&P. We need to see more of that vehicle.
But it's going to be gloss right? If I read that right, thsts the turnoff for me. Still might get them though.

7 to 8.5” is the wheel width range for the BD 32” tire 265/70 R17. The SAS wheel is 8.5” wide so yes you can add a 32” tire to the SAS wheel.

And 33” tires are 285/70 R17 used in the BL and they will also fit even better.

I am getting the steelies with 30s on the Base model.
I love the idea that I can shop for wheels and tires later (likely 32s).

Going aftermarket for wheels allows for a completely different look than stock. I might even do a bit of color matching. I kind of regret not getting red spokes with my red Mustang winter wheels. that would have been a cool look (like the original '64 1/2). Still happy to have a very unique second set of wheels.

Sure, but it looks better on 33s.

I am waiting to see if the steelies are shinny or not before I decide.
Oh it totally looks better with the 33s. I just don't think it 'needs' 35s.
