Averaging over 30mph isn't what I'd consider city, but those are good numbers.
So going through 4 red lights and 3 stop signs in 10 miles isnt city driving? What would it be highway?

Driving 80 miles and posting a MPG number doesn't impress me 🤷🏻‍♂️

Over 3600 miles of mixed driving in a rather cold Minnesota winter using 87 octane the whole time and averaging 17mpg with a 2.7 4 door Badlands Sasquatch does though.

My window sticker says 18 and 18. I've seen as high as 23 on slow country back roads. I'm usually getting 19.

On the last fill up ($70, ugh!) my fuel economy meter was showing 19.5 but my calculation was almost exactly 19. This was filled with 5 miles to empty. There was still another gallon in the tank when I got to that point, if anybody wants to know.

More details here if you want a long read.

This is the EPA city cycle. You can see they rarely go over 30 and come to a stop about once per minute.

That doesn't mean our real-world numbers are wrong, but this is what the window sticker calls "city".

Isnt highway just as absurd, with the way they measure it?

I'm not sure either are absurd, they're real life somewhere.

I would like to add the numbers for sustained, flat 60, 70, 80 mph driving.

It's the one GOAT mode that is undefined - Grandpa Mode. I've had it long before the Bronco coined the various GOAT modes. Not a Grandpa, but just never in a hurry. I'm the guy putzing around town and on the interstate. I drive about 5K miles/yr.
Ahhh , Seems Legit!

My Dad definitely drives in that mode.

I'm a little more like the rapper Ludacris:
