New to the forums ....

Anyone else thinking a Black Diamond with Sasquatch will get you almost everything the Badlands is sporting (minus the sway bar disconnect) for about the same as a base Badlands?

Assuming that “$6,780” figure for a hardtop/2.7/auto and Sasquatch (the price difference between the Badlnds and the Wildtrak) it kinda seems to me that the BD+Bigfoot is looking like a sweet spot (vinyl interior, rubber floor, HD bumpers, rock rails, bigger engine, auto, hardtop, plus the Bigfoot goodies)...

Obviously this is all speculation and is moot once the pricing comes out but I kinda think it might be the “max tow” (glance at a Gladiator forum for that reference) of the Bronco?

THat's what I'm getting! I'm getting a Cactus Badsquatch 2 door. Comes with everything I wanted, without the electronic disconnect thing which I don't think I need.

Plus rubber floors and marine vinyl seats.

The only 2 things I really want on top are the wireless phone charging, and full keyless entry, so i might need to Lux too...

I have a reserve for Badlands now - but strongly considering this Black Diamond idea with squash. I hate the Black Diamond name. I have to get that out there. So I will probably debadge it. Otherwise it will be cactus with white top if available. I do not need the sway bar disconnect for the wheeling I do, which is not much really.

Only thing stopping me from going this route is the mid package is a high as you can go. If the high package was available on the Black diamond, I would go for it.

Not being able to get into the 12” screen and upgraded audio of the lux package is a killer for me.
If they’re offered a la carte, it’ll be real compelling. But I’m sure at that point you’re back into Badlands pricing.

Yep, same two models I'll be cross shopping also.

I have a feeling I may lean towards the Badlands once I price it out.
I reserved for a Black Diamond, not that it matters in the least.

I thought the same, but I think having the swaybar disco is worth it & I think one of the GOAT modes are different. I choose 4-door Badlands, but will price out an upgraded Black Diamond.

Can you give a link where you see this? I can't find this anywhere, but if you can the Black Diamond is a home run for me.

Under the Black Diamond Interior Options it lists the 12" Touchscreen and B&O Sound System a la carte without having to get the High/Lux Package.

Pretty sure it's only on Outer Banks and up since it's part of the high package.

The 12” is cool but the 8.4 in my gladiator is plenty big - although potential adaptive cruise in the high/lux might be tempting (more for the wife). I like adaptive but it’s not a deal breaker for me.

The sway bar thing might be more of a determinant as it’s nice on the JT but with IFS how much of a difference will it make? And I’m sure there will be aftermarket mods/solutions if it becomes an issue.
