Has anybody driven a mod vs mic top at highway speeds? Similar, more or less wind noise?
My anecdote - 2Dr Big bend vs. 4Dr Heritage.

Could not have a conversation with the 2Dr MIC (with that headliner option) at 75mph. White MOD top - you can have a normal conversation as long as the windows are up lol.

It could be 2Doors are louder.

I have a 2dr heritage and there is absolutely no wind noise even at 90mph unless of course the windows are open. Came from a 2dr jeep that i couldn't handle the noise at 60mph. The mod top with the stock insulation is great.

I will definitely be looking into this - stay tuned for a MIC top for sale post- lol.
I think the only way you'll get one is going to be from buying a new Bronco.
These likely wont be available or sold from Ford a la carte for a very long time.

Yeah - more than likely, but won't hurt to make a few calls into some of my peeps to see what they can make happen.

I have the MIC top minus sound deadening on my 2 door and it is not anything like you describe. Even with the Bestop Sunrider, it is easy to have a conversation as long as the windows are up. Drove almost 6 hours home after purchase on the interstate with no issues whatsoever with noise. It’s not a Lincoln or Cadillac.

I suppose the question is how fast they can build these and are they going to be one of those options that make for a factory order that takes years to build?

Looks exactly like the interior of my 2022 Wrangler Rubicon Hard Top.....wonder if they switched manufacturers?

Genuinely curious. Aside from the painted finish, and removable side windows, what's the benefits of a MOD top?

Are they less crack prone than the "wonderful" MIC tops?

I personally am not a fan of the glossy appearance, but I also don't have however many thousands of dollars to shell out whenever, or if ever available al la carte, so my opinion is moot.

That white interior would be scuffed and painted a satin or matte black pronto...

SMC material vs MIC. Heavier but more durable and quieter. Would have loved to get this from the factory on mine

Id definitely take a quieter more durable top. The MIC on our 4 door is fine noise wise, the durability has me concerned though. Hesitant to even consider a factory roof rack.
