Black painted roof option on Badlands..

I spent the extra and accepted the extra 'late delivery' for the black painted hard top but just realized that the front grill (and the fenders??) Are both that carbonized grey color.

Why o why are they going out off their way too create sooo many trims and making it so customizable for us only too need to change things up when we receive them. ....... .. I think I answered my own question.

I guess I need to wait for the black fenders and grill now....

There are not black painted fender flares, except on the non-squatched shadow black Outer Banks. All squatched fender flares are the darker grey MIC. I'm sure that in a year or two the aftermarket, may have something for you.

The gloss black grille in the same pattern as the Badlands grille is available on the WildTrak. You may be able to find someone with a WT to swap with you, or you could probably order a WT grille from the parts department.

Yes, they are the same color and texture that you see in all of the pics.

For those like you that want to put different flares on, at least it is easy to take them off and swap them with others. I'm sure there will be A LOT of after market options eventually. You might have to wait some time before the type you want are available though.

the specification of the matching grill/mirror caps is NOT showing on the canadian site. i'm hoping this is a mistake on the site (i've already found that on the canadian site in one place states that the sway bar disconnect is only available on the black diamond ).

my dealer asked her ford rep who said: "For both the Badlands and Outer banks the black painted hard top is showing as a free standing option. No mention in the order guide of the grill changing except when the trim level is changed."

... i guess I will know for sure in a few months...
