So it just peels off without hurting the paint?
100%. You can see in the photo it started to peel off just by me removing the tape. And I can peel it off the emblem too if I want to redo it or change it or just remove it. Super easy. It’s pretty amazing stuff.
The only caveat…..it needs to be decently SPRAYED ON to easily peel up. If I didn’t wrap around it, the fading edges of the overspray (just the tiny little specs) would’ve been a huge pain to remove. Not impossible, but not as easy as peeling a sticker off. So still wrap to make the overspray cleanup a non-issue. Area around the emblem will lift right up with no issues.

How quickly can it be peeled off? I'm thinking get-away car...
Lol. Well for a serious answer, as quickly as a vinyl wrap. If you are one of those people that likes peeling plastic off new cars, TVs, etc, you could probably fulfill that kink by just plasti-dipping random objects in your house.

But as @bwomp91 said, you gotta do a good job of getting solid coverage. I usually do 2-3 layers of spray for items like this. Any loose dots will be a pain to remove. Not because they stick more, but because they are not really part of the final result. Like sticker residue.

I didn’t realize how geeked out I am on plastidip until this thread.

My hinges are like that too. It seems that they are sprayed rough metal.
yeah there’s nothing wrong with them haha. Just not made out of “smooth as a baby’s behind” sheet metal like the body.

That setup is my current plan is well.
Just trying to decide between the gloss black script to match the emblem or matte black to match the fender flares.

Yeah I was pretty surprised to read people do their wheels in Plasti-Dip...only because if one spot gets messed up, you sort of have to peel it off and start with a whole new fresh coat. I'm not really concerned with it for a single, small rear emblem, but even still....redoing it is a pretty simple process. Wheels? My goodness, I can't even imagine haha
I dipped my 2013 Focus ST wheels. The prep was the hardest (cleaning) but I had them off the car. The spraying went well and the results were great. Cleaning the overspray off the rubber of the tire was the hardest part as I didn’t mask off anything.

I also epoxy-painted the calipers - THAT was a PITA.

<edit> that is a weird reflection on the wheels (the whitish lines) - the wheels were evenly sprayed like the spoke on the right bottom side.

It sounds like it's possible to plasti-dip your whole truck, it you wanted to.
I’ve seen a ricer done this way…I think it was an old EVO. Looked very bad…very bad.

Has anyone taken the Bronco off yet? Does anyone know how?

Those three are the same ones I want. What is the part number or how did you get the Bronco script ones? Thank you in advance.
The part number for the Bronco is right there. The scripts are from broncodepotusa.com

Is it just me or is the paint on your one back door hinge startting to bubble or oxidize
Mine is the same way on my hinges… I’ve noticed on my local dealers demo too. So not sure if this is a Ford thing or lazy paint jobs
