I agree that the lighting conditions make the photo a bad representation of the color, etc., and it probably won’t look as bad IRL, but...

I still do not understand why Ford isn’t even trying to match the top to the fender flares, door handles, etc. It just looks so mismatched. Like somebody broke the original top and bought a non-matching replacement or something.
You have a point, the photo is clearly very over-exposed...lots of noise in the bumper. Also to expose for black inside with factory lighting the gray top is surely being washed out.

No comment on the top shown here. I'm not willing to make any judgment calls on materials/texture/color/etc. on any photo taken under harsh retina-searing factory lighting conditions.
Agree. Looking at the pic even the shadow black looks horrible. Lighting makes it look like failed body work and they painted over it to try and make it look better.

Thought I was decided on Big Bend. Strongly considering Base so I can add on what I want. Now for some reason I'm being pulled to Black Diamond. Ugh!

Would a BD stock be a good daily driver? No major off-roading or rock climbing for me. Just trail riding and camping. Or is BD overkill for my plans?

I'm just not impressed with the general grabbers. That's what I have on my 2WD Tundra. Come on Badlands.

Yikes - looks like a spare rim spray painted black. In fact, the black paint looks bad on the body too. I'm sure it's just the weird reflections from all the lights though. I hope.

Without seeing the front, looks like a Badlands Squatch or Wildtrak in Area 51 with a butt-load of cliche off-roading stickers lol
Is that a reflector under the spare tire?

The gray top is actually a genius move by Ford. Everyone hates it so much that they'll be willing to buy the $1900 modular black top :ROFLMAO:. I was already going to get the shadow black top anyway, but that gray top is so ugly...hopefully it's just the abnormal amount of fluorescent lighting in that warehouse.

Anyone else think the image quality makes the car body look like gloss-coated Play-Doh?
Is gray the only color that is Molded-In-Color or do they have a black available in the MIC?

Seems like the only black hard top is painted shadow black on the wildtrak.

The Gray Top would be great to get (No extra cost) and have it painted any Color you want. White, Body Color.....

I don't care for the Bucking Horse Emblem. I'd rather have, like the original, FORD letters stamped in the tailgate.

I also don't like the Plastic Rear Bumper.

Which grabbers do you have? The a/t x and x3's are both great tires
