I, after many attempts, can't find the block heater cord on our Bronco.

I've looked all over the place by the pass side headlight and no luck. I didn't feel or see anything in the front bumper and I don't see it on my window sticker. Do I just not have one?

Qualifier - I've been out in the cold and dark twice looking for it, I'm apparently not that smart.

It is under the hood on the passenger's side. Sort sits between the air cleaner opening and the fender. Very inconvenient and sort Dodgeish.

"If" under the hood
Kind of leaves it wide open for anywhere at this point
Instinctively I'd would have gone for the front grill / bumper
Post if you find it
Curious
I've ordered the same option

It's it where you expect it... first time I have ever owned a vehicle where you have to open the hood. both broncos came with it in that spot. There is a rubber cap over it

Except if you’ve owned a Ford truck, you expect it to be down on the front bumper.

Definitely in an inconvenient location. As others have said, the cord on F150s is easily accessed near the front lower grille. The cord on my daughter’s 2003 Escape is up near the hood latch, but you can poke it out under a closed hood for conneciton.

Leaving the hood up or open to connect this block heater is not practical if/when the wind’s howling and snow’s blowing hard. The hood needs to be closed.

I have bought a rubber-capped receptacle which I want to mount in the front bumper somewhere, but the problem with the modular bumper is there aren’t many spaces to do this. Luckily I can garage my Bronco most of the time, but when away on trips or otherwise out on bad-cold days, I’d like the heater cord to be readily accessible.

It is a stand alone option on us models. I have heard all Canada spec Broncos have them. You probably just don’t have the heater.

That is the most ridiculous place to put it, you should not have to open the hood every time to plug it in. SMH
I will be putting a short extension on that (during the winter) when I get my Bronco.

Finding it is the easy part. Figuring out how to plug this into 240V is the hard part!
