We did an easy run yesterday from Bloody Basin Road to Sheeps Bridge. We then crossed the river and went to the Horseshoe Lake Dam and then back out to the paved road near Bartlett Lake. It was a fun day. Lots of water crossings that had a decent amount of water in them especially for the desert. There was a total of 8 Broncos with varying experience offroad. We brought up the rear all day so we ate a lot of dust but mostly kept the windows up and the air on recirculate. It was our first outing (other than testing on some dirt roads near by) with our ADS Racing Shocks and they made a world of difference. Let me know if we can help you with a set.

We were on the trail for about 8 hours total. Great run and great people.

That first picture crossing the river is definitely pushing the limits of water level heights. Did any water come into the cabin? Great photo though!
None at all. There were even a few in the group on 33s that handled it like a champ.

It was a great run. We made sure we walked all of the water crossing before driving them to confirm the depth, but yes we were sure close to that 30 inch max depth that ford advertises. Glad you were able to join us. Hope to see you on the trail again soon.

That is awesome to read. Our rivers right now are filled with heavy snow melt so it will be a few weeks before water crossings become doable. Thanks for the insights.

It was definitely a wet year. We had awesome water crossings in the desert that are often completely dry.

One of my favorite trails in the Phoenix area! I usually go from Bartlett road and cross over below Horseshoe dam, glad to see the water flow is low enough to cross again.

My wife and I have been wanting to do this trip. Was this an organized group ride? If yes, are you open to new recruits?
Yes, this was a group ride we did last weekend. Look us up in the FB group Arizona Broncos. The group typically has a ride planned most weekends, if fact we have a night run planned for this Saturday 6/3 at Sycamore Creek.

Thanks, @AZBronco73. We'll get signed up in that FB group and, hopefully, join you on the trails soon. I always scan the 2 local groups listed here on the forums for group ride opportunities but I think Facebook is where there is more action.
