Installed the new BLUMAK3D mud flaps today, wanted to share my experience!

I was fortunate to be selected for the giveaway so they could test their shipping process and fitment.

I was super interested in their product because I am not a big mud flap guy. I like their functionality, but don’t like their looks in general. BLUMAK3D’s appealed to me because the ease of taking them on/off as needed. I’m the type that will probably only put them on for rainy conditions or something.

Install was a breeze other than a stubborn push pin I had on my rock rail lol. I had to use some elbow grease to get it out and that thing launched down my driveway making it difficult to find haha 😂 normal install should take 15 mins or less

It came well packaged with instructions:

For Sasquatch Broncos all you need to do is remove 1 push pin, 1 T25 screw, and the end cap on each rock rail. Then slide mud flap on and hand tighten the T30 screw.

EDIT: Review Added

I’ve done about 350 miles or so now with the mudflaps installed. Including about a 240 mile work trip.

They’ve been excellent! Every once in a while I will hear a small rock or pebble hitting them and the paint on my doors being spared haha.

They still look great too! I highly recommend them!

Most important thing about mudflaps on an offroad vehicle....they to to flap. If they don't flap and are rigid like WeatherTech you can throw them away.
I know ppl that damaged their fender flares because the mudflaps were too rigid

Do they flap?

These are pretty rigid but they do have some flap and flex in them. They do feel like they can take a beating.

Since removal is so simple I would prob take them off before serious off roading

In this case they are in a tuff spot. The Chinese manufacturer Mabette (sp) has rigid ones and when you are competing with them on pricing they always win

So far the only flexible ones that are worth having are rokblokz and rally armor but at a steep price .
Good luck with the review but rigid mudflaps are not very popular in offroad community

If if can ever figure out how to upload videos here I’ll have a vid showing the flexibility

What brand steps did you put on? I considered these flaps but $289 for 2 pieces of plastic was a little too pricey for me

Those steps are Archetype Racing Stirrups. I highly recommend them!

These are injection molded. Wait for mabett to copy them and sell them at 50% off
They have OEM ones look alike at a discount as well.
They won't copy others because it needs extra parts ex rally armor

Thanks for the input. I will upload a flex test video. Also, these do not attach to the flares. They attach to the Rock Rails in a way that would not damage the flares if things went crazy.

When you say “these are injected molded” are you talking about the BkuMak3D flaps in the review, or the steps?
