I was thinking about this too, I have them in my Rubicon and really like that look.

I don't lik ethe painted OBX flares either so was going to settle for BD but I saw a pic of OBX on the configurator thread and it looks like OBX with Squatch gets you black flares? Anyone else notice this. So I may go OBX 2.7 Squatch lux now. Plus can add front modular bumper to OBX.

Lol. I really DON'T want body colour flares or mirrors. To each their own.
Maybe an option that'll be finalized.

Looks like Badlands & Outerbanks guve you Painted color match Hardtop with only Outerbanks having painted fender Flairs. Probably in 2022 all trim levels will give you the option of painted fender flares and painted Hardtops. It's a upcharge with the Wrangler and don't think Ford will want to miss out on up charging us. More profit for them and ability to personalize are Bronco for us, that's called a Win/Win. I will say matching flares and hardtop does have a cool look.

From what we seen so far, yes.
I was going to reserve a Badlands and do the 33's until I seen no painted flares.

With what we know now, Outer Banks is the only one that comes with painted fender flares. I'd imagine that we'll see painted flares as a standalone option, or accessory, given how easily that they reportedly come off.

With the Sasquatch available for the Outer Banks, does anyone know if they’ll offer color matched higher clearance flares? A big draw for the model seems to be the polished look, it’d be a shame to lose that to get Sasquatch. Plus, rubicon offers it so I can’t imagine ford would let Jeep have even the slightest perceived edge on them right out of the gate.

i'm sure it will be an upgrade that you can buy.

i'm on the fence if I like it. I know it's subjective but the black contrast that you get from the handles, side mirrors and fenders brings the design elements together and it looks better imo..

i'm also in the same camp as the dude pushing for the black hard top.....makes zero sense to have a grey one

From what I saw on a video earlier the flares are removable and pretty easily from what I saw. I don't think it would be a stretch for Ford to offer you the option, if the tires can accommodate that is.

The Outer Banks has body color painted fender flares, door handles, and mirrors. I much prefer all the matte black trim. But it is the first model that has the 12" Touchscreen as an option. As for the hard top ...

Why is it GREY!?

The gray one is probably cheaper. I'd get the painted black to match the body color.

Agree on the grey top. They would of made a ton of folks very happy if they did a molded White top instead of the molded carbonized Gray.
