I've searched around for this without much luck.
Is it safe to assume the front fenders and rear quarters on the 2 door and 4 door are the same size?
I'm trying to get an overall feel for cargo size between them.
Assuming the rear seats are removed from the 2 door (which I will do immediately and install some sort of flat floor platform) it seems to me that the length from the back of the front seats on the 2 door to the tail gate would be longer than from the back of the rear seats in the 4 door. So the actual cargo area (for dogs or "overland gear") would be no worse in a 2 door with no seats vs. behind the rear seats in the 4 door.
On a 4 door you basically get all of your cargo space whereas on the 2 door the rear seats are in the cargo area.
Am I off base here?
Thanks!
