NICE! If I can drive the route in 3 hours that equates to more like 4 with a group correct? I could even do a cool 2 hour loop instead for the Sunday eve meet? Got a fun easy route to hard trigger and looking into possibly adding in Opalene gulch section optional loop. Fun trails but I am a newbie beginner so still found it challenging but not anything to sketchy. My wife was nervous in a few sections though so that was fun!
3 hours is already pretty short, 2 wouldn't be worth going out IMO.

Most will have an hour or so travel time to and from the trail head so I guess I was factoring that in a bit too. OK if we start at 6:30 and go to 10 or later that's super cool cause then once its dark we can "light up" the trails.

It could be a cool thing that the loop(s) I have been recon on could give the option of heading out to the highway after 2 1/2 hours or so. That would be right where I need to scout out the Opalene Gulch, Rats Nest Gulch areas for the rest of the ride.

I'm down for Th/Fri/ and some Sat's. I am somewhat familiar with Owyhees, i used to ride quads out there and go find the wild horses between Silver City and Hard Trigger. The Owyhee Uplands backcountry byway will be a great drive soon, when the wildflowers bloom. I am wanting to head up to War Eagle Mtn as well when the snow melts. So far I have been out past Reynolds Creek watershed to Whiskey Mtn with the Bronco.

I want to go to the top of War Eagle and whatever the next one is east of there. The road going up the other one was a bit too steep and loose (gravel) to make it up on my motorcycle, but I figure the Bronco should have no issues.
