Made from premium billet aluminum, Boomba Racing is excited to announce our Throttle Body & Intake Manifold Spacer Kit for the 2.7 Ecoboost engine option of the Ford Bronco.

This spacer adds volume to the air entering your head. This has been shown to aide in cylinder filling at lower RPM, smooth out throttle response, build boost sooner, and lengthen the effective wave pulse of the intake charge. In the picture shown above, you can see the dyno charts of this spacer paired with our throttle body spacer and the gains are tremendous. 19 ft lbs of torque and 19 whp, a significant change in the horsepower and torque curve.

This is currently in pre-order state and we are expecting to ship them out within the next 3-4 weeks.

This is currently in pre-order state and we are expecting to ship them out within the next 3-4 weeks.

Any concerns using this with a ported throttle body and manifold?

This looks great!! I always get excited when new stuff comes out for the Bronco!
I fully understand that power adders on gas engines typically come with some fuel mileage decreases. I also know this is not always the case. Can you give some idea how this will affect fuel mileage, obviously not taking into account the lead foot factor? LOL! I would love more power and better throttle response, I just want to make sure it does not come at too high a cost in fuel mileage. Which GOAT mode was used during test? I am assuming "Normal" since the report says "Stock". What are the power and torque numbers on different modes? Norm, Eco, Sport... Asking this just for S&Gs.
Thanks!

There shouldn't be any issue as long as the mating surface where the IM & TB meet with our spacers is the same diameter as stock, if the inside of the IM and TB is ported there could be even greater benefits with our spacers.

Great question, there are no fuel economy penalties or any decrease at all, the test was done in normal mode as that is the most neutral usually used mode that will give us the best comparison test stock vs with the spacers. As you can see on the charts there is a significant boost in overall torque not just peak but throughout the whole rev range. The numbers will not change if you're in a different mode as the modes don't give you more power but change the throttle mapping.

Thanks so much for your fast and thorough response!! I'll need to add this to my Christmas list.
One last question since mine is a daily driver with a few trips to the mountains to do some light off-roading.
Does this affect factory warranty?
The hard core folks tend to worry less about this stuff than I do.

We always recommend to have a good relationship with the dealership that is going to be servicing the vehicle and having sold many similar products for other makes and models we haven't heard of anyone having any issues.

By saying that it doesn’t require a re-tune, does that mean this could be effectively added while already using the ford performance tune?

I like what I see. What about instead of zip ties if you guys came up with some sort of anodized bracket to reinstall the charge pipe. You could install it to the charge pipe first then secure the bracket to the original mounting holes?

You instructions are good. I almost think I could do this myself. Thank you!.

You could absolutely add a tune or the parts at anytime, adding a tune would yield even greater gains since the parts are not restricted to the stock OEM tune parameters.
