Yikes! Glad to hear it survived the dunk!

We're still chugging along with our development and I'll have some more info regarding our prototype coming toward the end of this month!

This also seems like a great time to plug the fact that we also offer a range of recovery gear as well ;) :

Hey Guys!

Just bumping this thread with another update as we progress through the development of this project! Make sure that you head over to the Engineering Blog to get the full scoop!

HIGH HORSE – FORD BRONCO BORNE OFF-ROAD SNORKEL R&D, PART 2 – PROTOTYPE

Ford Bronco Borne Off-Road Snorkel R&D Thread NT6_0002

Also in our last post, we showed off our new design inside our digital modeling workspace. Using this software and our Faro Design ScanArm, our Ye could generate a virtual replica of the front of the Bronco to bring this design to life. As thorough and accurate as these engineering aides are, nothing quite beats physically installing the new design on the vehicle, so we turned to the help of our 3D printers. Continue Reading...

As always, don't hesitate to reach out with any questions that you might have!

Looks good so far, love to see the 3D printed prototype as that is what I do for a hobby. About what others have mentioned concerning branding and the logo on the snorkel, if branding is necessary I would prefer it say "Mishimoto" rather than "Borne Off Road".

I hope the install is relatively straight forward. Also hope in testing, the mounting of the snorkel is tested extensively.

My only criticism is the size of the actual air intake from the outside, sure is ginormous

Will this be compatible with aftermarket air intakes?

Sorry to comment negatively or non-constructively.

I always get a chuckle and a smile when I see a vehicle driving around with a snorkel on it. Really???

Probably easy to market since IMO it’s mostly an ego thing. Good luck with your offering.

I used to think the same as you in 99% of the vehicles I see with a snorkel on it. But if you've looked at any of the threads that show the Broncos air breather after driving through a couple puddles you'll see that water gets in the air box extremely easy and warps the filter.... So in this case installing something, anything, they can help prevent water from getting to the air filter might desperately be needed.
