What is a Panhard Bar?
In the off-road world, Pandhard Bars, or Rods, are often referred to as "Track Bars". The Panhard bar was named for its first manufacturer and is essential for control and maneuverability. It is used to retain a solid axle laterally, or side to side. It acts as a stabilizer, reducing the side-to-side roll of a vehicle by restricting lateral movement and better aligning the wheels with the center of the vehicle. It's bolted to the rear axle and frame of the vehicle, allowing the rear wheels to move up and down, but not left to right (laterally).

Why do I need a Relocation Bracket?
Panhard issues can occur when you lift your vehicle, causing the angle to change. An adjustable bar and/or relocation bracket can solve this by restoring the lateral geometry. The BOSS relocation bracket moves the axle housing mounting point upward to correct the alignment, restoring the geometry, and bringing the rear suspension roll center to your Bronco's center of gravity.

Features:
  • CNC cut and formed 3/16" thick steel
  • Grade 8 hardware included
  • Easy, bolt-on installation
  • Durable black powdercoating
  • Fits OE and aftermarket bars
  • Restores lateral geometry & improves handling
  • Made in the USA

There is at least one other relocation bracket maker that states a required minimum compressed strut length to avoid contacing the frame with the bracket during articulation. Are there any such restrictions with your setup?

The bracket moves the mounting point up by 2 3/8". Our bracket has a little more clearance due to the rounded shape. We measured our stock 2-door sasquatch suspension at 22.25"L at ride height. Currie says 18.15" min. collapsed length for clearance with their bracket, so that would equate to 4.1" of clearance needed, and we have 4.5". We've had it on for over a year now on some hard trails, fully flexed, and no contact with the frame.

Does this eliminate the need for an adjustable track bar?

Is there a winner yet?

I believe @j_marinelli has the worst so far, and needs one bad.
