Bowen’s Garage CT invoice pricing

Spoke to a dealer who told me that Allocation to the Dealership is based:

50% on the total number of Reservations
25% on the dealers conversion of Reservations to Orders
25% on the number of registered JEEPS in the area

Heard this directly from the dealer. Sounds fishy but that's what I was told.

Is there anyway to get clarification direct from FORD especially since they suggest dealership based on zip code at the time you make a reservation.

I don't think that's right - it had been said by quite a few of the dealers on here that are offering group deals that the allocation is 50% on the total Conversions of Reservations to orders and 50% on the Market Size and Dealership standing in that market (market size being Jeep/4Runner and similar vehicle registrations)

This has been debated ad nauseam elsewhere on the forum... with multiple interpretations of what the text of the memo says and what it means for us buyers.

Here is the language in question. Section 2, paragraph 3

For the record, all of this is to say that without knowing what the actual formula is, or what the values for its variables will be, it’s nearly pointless to try to game the system through which dealer you choose.
It’s likely that earlier reservations, regardless of what dealer you choose, will still receive their Broncos sooner than later reservations.
Choose your dealer for other reasons.

Well I just finalized with Jon Bowen over at Bowen’s. Jon has been great, he is an admin for the Ford Bronco 2021 FB page and Juggernaut Performance from his garage so it will be one stop shopping for mods etc. I also feel better about buying from a small business.

Honestly I’m not sure, I emailed him asking if invoice was still on the table and he said yes. I know he told people invoice before he mentioned the 20. He’s the owner, operator and mechanic. He seems happy to sell the car to like minded people

For anybody still following this, Jon just sent me an email regarding the push back on ordering. It was an email to all reservation holders and it had 52 people on it.

I had issues with my dealership in Northern mass, a few people suggested Bowen Garage and I recalled reading this thread so I reached out on March 11. Messaged with Jon Directly and the guy is a class act. Switched my reservation that day and haven't had any issues.

Nothing yet, I am guessing my 2dr, 2.7L, SAS isn’t helping

Nothing for me either. Caveat however I order a 2.7, SAS, Hardtop BL late in the game. It would be miracle for me to get one in 2021
