i just used the shop manual and snipping tool had to do something while it was raining. That's help a lot! Thanks....did you put that together? Wow
Can you pleas show me how you wired into and out of the tailgate? Did you drill a hole through the grommets for the camera wire?i just used the shop manual and snipping tool had to do something while it was raining.
Thanks! What did you do with the red wire on the lead that plugs into the rear camera? I assume this is for back up function and should be spliced with reverse lights or something? Not mentioned at all in the instructions.....I I taped the shroud for the door wiring and ran the new wires through it.
I then ran it along the existing wiring I just attached it with electrical tape except for where it went into the door. I used a zip tie there.
per the instructions I then routed it out through the vent behind the spare tire carrier.
Can someone be so kind to post a picture of your fuse panel tapped for the mirror. Did you tap per instructions?? I am not so good with electrical but no the taps have to go in a certain orientation.Just finished my install. Everything works great, except my sunvisor lights and homelink garage door opener no longer work. Any ideas?
I just taped it off. Like you said it is for the reverse features which is redundant on the Bronco since we already have a backup camera. Thanks! I followed the instructions. The bottom tap will only go in with the fuses facing up. The lip of the block interferes with them facing down. Can someone be so kind to post a picture of your fuse panel tapped for the mirror. Did you tap per instructions?? I couldn't figure it out, so I had to take it to the dealership. They say that I damaged a wiring harness during the install. So, I paid the dealership to fix it for about the same price as I would have paid someone to install the Brandmotion mirror...Just finished my install. Would it be possible to get a picture of your fuse box? I've had this since before they included the taps and it's never quite worked right. it would always show the date as 2054 and would never hold a new date. now that I installed my own taps it seems to let me change the date, then on reboot will reset the date to 2020 upon the GUI loading. the brandmotion people seem stumped too.I followed the instructions. here you go. I haven’t had any issues with the mirror losing the date settings. As you can see the fuses are facing each other the top one is the constant and the bottom is the switchedWould it be possible to get a picture of your fuse box?
