I have the Turn Offroad tube style rear bumper, but had to remove the mud flaps to make it look OK. you'll also need different retaining rings for the rear sensors.
What rings did you find to work? I ordered some from Amazon and hacked one up to fit but will require some RV silicon to help secure in place and then Iā€™d be concerned as the silicone would be the only thing really holding it.

Part of the issue I noticed is the ā€œinside plateā€ the actual sensor slides into isnā€™t completely centered with the holes in the bumper. For example, if you think of a wheel and tire, the sidewall is exactly Xā€ all the way around the wheel. In this case it varies. I didnā€™t measure exactly but one side might be 1/4ā€ and the other 1/8ā€ for example. Hence my hack job, lol.

So very curious the solution you found

Donā€™t mean to talk trash, but Iā€™ve personally seen two of the Turn Off-road bumpers (non-tube) on standard Broncos bend using the recovery points for doing snow recoveries. I think it may have to do with the slotted mounting points on the bumper. Not sure if tube style has same weakness. .

Not sure how many recovery situations you get in, but get a tow receiver recovery point if you want that bumper to last.

the Turn off-road bumpers look good, price is amazing, but may not be the most durable for more extreme duty.
I talked with Turn about this. They state it has been redesigned for more strength, and the bumper has a lifetime warranty so should anything happen, they will replace with a new one no hassles. Iā€™ve not worked with them prior to this bumper but they have been very responsive and I believe they would follow through.

What concerns me with your post is the statement about slots. There are some slots still used for the mount points. I believe they changed the recovery points. I didnā€™t deep dive the prior failures so not sure if it was slots, weak recovery welds, etc.

As far as a tow receiver recovery point, Iā€™d be very hesitant with that on these Broncos. That X-frame is pretty anemic. Wouldnā€™t want to do kinetic pulls on it.

i replaced it with an expedition 1 rear bumper.
Nice looking bumper.

Can you run the factory tow electrical and tow reinforcement bars?

Can you get it without the tire holder/hinge?

Glad to hear theyā€™ve updated the bumpers and stand behind them. As far as the mounting slots , that was my guess as to what the underlying issue was. Iā€™d prefer a hole over a slot for mounting in any event. Itā€™s a fair point on using the tow hitch recovery point, but it seemed more reliable solution than those early Turn bumpers.
