I have a FE reserved, so I'm excited about the black interior news. The delay is not a surprise. At this rate, I'm going to make a second reservation. Trade my FE in on a MY22. I can win twice.

Because the deliveries will not be in *strictly* consecutive reservation order (fortunately, or we'd all be waiting for someone in the line ahead waiting on a late-availability part). There are logistic realities with shipping/delivery, and frankly, Ford has marketing interest is get more Broncos into high-visibility markets sooner. The allocation plan appears to be Ford's attempt to "even out" or make more fair the distribution between large and small dealers, particularly to small dealers with large numbers of reservations, while also taking into account high off-roader purchase markets (read: get more Bronco's seen and interest created in high Jeep sales markets).

The allocation plan won't make everyone happy, but I have to begrudgingly admit that it seems to fairly split the opposing interests of large dealers vs. small dealers with large reservation numbers.
Meaning those who switched to Granger or Stephens, etc... Could have a day 3 reservation and won't get it till 22? If those dealers don't get enough allocation?

Theoretically.

Dude...seriously..
I’ve never ordered a new vehicle before so
I’m not an expert..are you? With Ford giving a timeline of placing orders from potentially Mid January through March there has to be a reason in the somewhat long timeline, and yes my dealer here in Iowa has well over 1000 orders so
I’m not sure how priority is taken as far as who gets access to place their orders and the timeframe in which the dealer has..

So I’m sure I’m worrying for no reason but the delay has caused me a
Little concern...
Actually I have ordered vehicles before and unless they delay some more you'll be fine. I wouldn't start freaking out yet.

The 42,000 points mentioned gets 4 oil changes.
Or $210 worth of accessories.
Doesn't anybody do their own oil changes anymore?

I currently have a little over 48k. I hope to get enough to add a set of pod lights.

Expected. I don't doubt we'll see further delays on top of this too.

Does anyone else consider a 2022 less valuable than a 2021 Bronco? If you order and then Ford tells you it will now be a 2022 model can you cancel your reservation ?
I think I the 2021 will have some cache. Just like the 1964 1/2 mustang does. The timing of it is pretty close to what happened back then as well. I want the first year.

And actually, the 2021 looks like it will be rarer than you might think? 40,000 maybe? Maybe only about 5,000 manual 2-doors?
