We managed to break our passenger side RCV axle while on Backway to Crown King last Saturday. RCV is sending us a rebuild kit to address it through the warranty claim.

thankful we kept our stock axles as backup!

All the damage looks like it occurred from the failure not the root cause.

The wear line here would be bangin around post failure as the star can't physically touch the retaining ring. The mark on the star and race is consistent with a ball coming out and doesn't look like long term wear.

Any cracks in the inner bell? Is the inner bell still round? Go roll the inner bell on the ground and clean it up well to see if it needs replacement.

The retaining ring would be bent/not perfectly round if it was over extended.
I was thinking about too much angle ...not over plunging and pulling the thing apart from being over extended ... in my experience you cannot lift the Sasquatch more than about two and a half inches without running into the CV being at too much angle.

That would spit a ball pretty quick. Not sure what @Bird Dog Off Road runs exactly for suspension as I don't watch his youtube. I just don't think RCVs CV axles are worth it, to many issue. Spicer seems to be the better option.
