Not surprised. Bronco is heavy and was on 87 octane. It's also possible that OBX has the base 3.73's. That doesn't help.

Well that is really disappointing. I know they aren't race cars but that made me sad. Beat by a Pentastar....so glad I got the 2.7 but something tells me it won't be that much better.

i bet a base with the smaller wheels would have eaten the jeep's lunch. the lower effective gear ratio would have been advantageous in the quarter mile..

I watched that and figured it wasn’t worth posting. It’s an outer banks so at best it has 4.27 gears. Maybe 3.73s. With 35s(?) and regular fuel. Not sure they could have handicapped it any worse. Seems like a video to get clicks and make Jeep people happy.
