Still not an even comparison. The Bronco was squatched and that's more rolling resistance compared to the 4 cyl Sahara. You can see the tire size difference.

At the end of the day though, I could care less about drag racing the bronco.

Better race would be to put them in 4lo and see which one can crawl better without any gas

If that's the case you're right it wasn't fair the Jeep was a Sahara with shity 3.45 gearing. The Bronco had 4.70 gears. Put 4.70s in the Jeep with that 2.0T and then see what happens bigger tires or not. Gearing is King especially when it comes down to drag racing.

Not Squatch.... Look at the fender flares. But looks like AM wheels!

So you don't like to see acceleration testing? That gives you a peak into the windo of the power! Kinda important especially when you're passing people on the highway. 95% of people buying these vehicles will never hard-core Off-road them. 95% of them will be Mall crawlers and daily drivers!

You're right. Those aren't squatch fenders. The extra wide tires threw me off, and that's what I was referring to regarding the extra rolling weight/resistance.

I personally don't think that any engine offerings from either brand are inadequate for their intended purpose, which is off-roading.
I agree. All of these engines are impressive. Think about the power they are getting from these 4 cylinder engines compared to older v8s. And the best part is they are half the weight.

I know the stock Territory tire is a relatively light weight tire...
I'd like to know if this 4 door is equipped with boat-anchors! And what are the Jeeps rolling on?
