Don't let the cat out of the bag on who your dealer is....a lot of people with much earlier reservations who are on the outside looking in at their dealer may try to switch and jump the line on you...
Not telling until conversion window closes!!!

I got an email from my dealer that they will begin taking orders on Wednesday. I made an appointment with them for Wednesday evening, I will let everyone know how it goes.

I will probably get an email in July to order since my august reservation is close to the end of the line.

I just got an email from my Zone manager with our allocation, I'm hoping its very wrong, but if its not we only got enough allocation to fill our 7/14 and 7/15 orders. I'm hoping its an error, but things could be about to get ugly.

Edit- Just talked to the zone rep, number was correct. He said it was about 30% of the reservations (by 9/18) for most dealers and that matches mine. He did say to remember that this was the estimate, it will change based on the number of reservations that cancel, and they're expecting more cancellations at certain dealers so he's hoping that the number will go up as they loose allocations.
Another new vehicle roll out screwed up by Ford! kind of defeats the point of allowing people to place reservations for a Bronco with a specific dealership if Ford is not going to allocate said dealerships with enough Bronco's to fill those reservations.

my dealer is only submitting orders based on the allocation they received. At least for now.

I'm not saying you are wrong, but I got a different explanation from the New Car Sales Manager at the dealership I'm reserved at. He is their "specialist". According to him, dealers are expected to convert as many reservations as they can in to orders. Orders will be assigned VINs based on dealer allocation, commodity availability, and timestamp. Initial allocation will likely change after the order banks close. The number of VINs assigned will be based on final allocation.

Again, according to the specialist. I can't confirm or deny any of it.

If this is correct, it would be foolish for a dealer to only submit as many orders as their allocation.

not a screw-up. They just can't make 190K broncos in 2021.

Apparently the new Raptor will be announced on Feb 3rd. Another option for those who may not want to wait.

My dealer is small, has no idea what is going on and doesn't communicate anything. I'm a 7/15 reservation and likely waiting until 2023 for their allotment. May have to swap dealers.

Yes sir! I may have to order the Gen3 Raptor and to hold myself over until the Warthog comes out. My wife wants my 2019 Raptor.

:)

but seriously, if dealership A has 100 reservations on day 1 and they are only going to be able to fill 30 of them because they are a small dealership that is Ford's screw up. Ford allowed their reservation system to over allocate per dealer allotment for a given model year.
