iSeeCars analyzed over 1.9 million new cars sold between July 1 and September 7, 2022, and compared their list price to their MSRP. The average difference was expressed as a percentage from MSRP and used to rank the vehicle models. Low-volume models and heavy-duty vehicles were excluded from further analysis.

“The Ford Bronco has been in high demand since its debut last year, and this demand has exceeded supply as inventory shortages have led to long waitlists and frequent dealer markups for the vehicle,” said iSeeCars Executive Analyst Karl Brauer. “Ford closed the order books for the 2022 Bronco in May and began taking orders for the 2023 version in late August.”

Gt500 and mid engine corvette would be at the top of the list of they were included

Corvette is on there as #9, but I am surprised about the GT500 not being there. Local dealer had one for $30k over sticker but maybe this analysis categorized it under a regular Mustang which might have brought it down

Wrangler confuses me being on this list. I've seen it before but thought there were lots of ordered deals on Wranglers out there right now?

Does this include when the dealer HAS honored a "no ADM agreement?"

My gut feeling is that if it is, that would skew lower the average above sticker price for Bronco.

I would guess because there are more custom ordered Broncos than any other car there and perhaps those "no adm " deals were struck pre-covid?

I, of course, have no effect clue what I am talking about. But is a theory.

Low-volume models, like the GT500, are not counted into this list. Certain vehicles, such as the Porsche GT RS3, are going for 100k over sticker, but only a handful of people will be able to get their hands on them, so that would skew the list.

There are several dealerships within my area selling at anywhere from $8-17K over MSRP. That was my last check in the past week. I would guess they are gone or will be within the week. That is how it has gone since release as yes I am that petty.

And this is the best case against FORD, literally screwing over its reservation holders. Many of these trucks have 2.7L, SAS, and are nicely appointed. Do not buy the hype, FORD are building a lot of Broncos. Yes, commodities are scarce but if FORD wanted to fulfill our orders they would.

Also, this also means that there a lot of Bronco bros out there staying silent about the $20K extra they paid for that 2.3L 4DR. LOL I only laugh because I can't afford that. But I am actually glad that I can't.

My dealership bought my 2016 Ram Laramie 2500 Cummins 6-Speed with 79,500 miles back in May 2021 for $3000 less than what I paid for it new in OCT 2015, so I ordered my 2022 Base Model 2-Door from them..........14 months later I got my Bronco & with my 2021 VW Golf 6-Speed trade-in......they made out better than I did!!!
