Took the weekend a little while back to show some friends the little town of Davis and to camp out on Canaan Loop! Great area and a fun easy trail for folks!

I always have a soft spot for Davis and Thomas, WV from 40 years ago when I rode my KLR650 in Blackwater 200.

Very nice! That area is beautiful, hint the tag for west virgina wild and beautiful. One if the best places I've visited. Also, some great white water rafting at new river gorge!

Fantastic photos, beautiful area, and great report. Thanks for sharing with us.
At some point in time my BB "Big Green" will arrive, and my first adventure will be in the area of your report.
A bit southeast of Davis is the area called Dolly Sods Recreation/Wilderness Area.
Looking forward to EG, BB, and the big adventure. I tried the trip before, however, in a regular vehicle, and had to turn around before I could finish the trip.
I'll post photos if I ever get there, and if anyone can share how you add pictures to the post.

We are traveling full time and hit WV in May and fell in love. We are coming back to WV, Monongahela NF then down to Red River Gorge about Oct 1. Would love to meet up with someone to run the trails.
