Have a question hoping someone on here can help. I ordered my bronco almost the day orders were available to order with my build. Dealer then screwed my whole build with none of my packages I chose. I have tried numerous times to have them change them. Add said sasquatch pack, mic roof, as well as rock sliders. The dealer says ford will not process the changes is this dealer just trying to get the bronco to arrive fast and screw me over just so they get their commission? Total build up specs were a total of nearly 60k. With the the down grades it's sitting at like 45k. I would think dealer wouldn't try to get screwed out of the additional 15k
Go directly to Mike Levine - either on Twitter or by email. I'm certain you'll be taken care of.

Once the VIN is assigned, that order is locked to the dealer, can’t be moved, can’t be altered, can’t be canceled. Legal action against the dealer may be warranted, if they ordered the wrong configuration and refused to address the buyer’s requests to get it corrected. If the order is correct on the DORA sheet and the buyer signs/ approves that order, it’s effectively binding. If they entered it wrong (intentionally or not), then they have dropped the ball in placing the order. I would definitely have an attorney crawling up their butt if that happened to me. I would basically put it on the dealership to round up that spec vehicle they agreed to order/sell, even if they have to modify some other allocation of theirs that can still be altered or if they have to buy/trade from another dealership to get it done.

This is actually not bad advice...
This has happened to a few other guys with shady dealers and I believe in every situation he's been able to fix it. At the very least OP should have his time stamp protected to put a new order in (with priority) at a new dealer.

This also puts the dealership on Ford's corporate radar for this type of behavior... something they are making a pointed effort to crack down on.

When I called the marketing department they said they could have up to before vin was generated. Unfortunately they can no longer make changes and he specifically said if the dealer said they couldn't make changes it was dealer lying. Unfortunately that is what happened I kept calling dealer before ever having a vin and they kept telling me they couldn't make any changes due to commodity issues.

If you cancel or refuse delivery you should get your reservation and deposit back, right? I know you'd rather have the Bronco you ordered, but is there at least an option where you wouldn't be out any money?

Yep, time to sacrifice a retail order submitted by a dealership employee for the cause. There probably are several to choose from. Pick the one with the earliest non-scheduled reservation date.

Some of the dealerships in Southern California are the worst in the nation. Not all, but some.

The Bronco Specialists on the 800 number won't be able to help. Reach out to Mike Levine directly.

The silver one is a basic run of the mill badlands on 33s with mid level infotainment interior and none of my build characteristics. Now ford says they can't make any changes and I will have to get a model year 2022
I would sit on that Badlands for now. Maybe before it’s delivered more info comes out about MY’22 and you decide to wait and place a new order.

Maybe you don’t want to wait, in which case the vehicle being built is actually really capable, and an excellent place to start customizing/modifying from.

I would absolutely clobber the dealer to leverage as much restitution out of them as I could get either way.

Give the dealer one last chance to make it right. If not, like others said, contact Mike L.:
[email protected]

Before you contact him, generate a timeline of all your communication with the dealer and have your documentation ready so that you can clearly and concisely state your case.

Sorry to hear that, OP. I live down the street from Sunrise Ford and I had a reservation with them until I switched over to Kearny Mesa. I knew they had no idea what they were doing when they called me after I made the reservation, the guy said "we actually have a few Broncos here on our lot, come on down." I had to explain I reserved a Bronco, not a Bronco Sport. That and a few emails with no response.

Soft top on 33s is my biggest issue as well as color. It kinda sucks a lot. I'm aware if how capable but mt t7 ranger Sits on 34s kinda funny to have a bronco on something smaller

I'm pretty aware of how capable the bronco would be just based off capable my t7 is on just 34s and a level kit. Why I was so eager for the sasquatch with the correct gearing for the 35s. I'm going to pay them a visit when I get out of work and give em a last chance before I cc them on a email to Mike levine
