Did you check to see if what you signed when you placed the order? I must have rechecked my build form from the dealer 20 times for a full day before I sent them a signed copy.

I believe so because I went into the actual dealer and sat down with them configure it and he gave me a print out of like 6 or 7 pages

Hmm, I think mine was only 1 page. You should have a copy so check to see what that says.

Yeah. WBDO Order Summary is just one page.

I bet it was someone who doesn’t actually have access to WBDO, and they have their salespeople confirm with a B&P and then someone else enters it into the system later.

So I called the marketing department and they pretty much confirmed what was stated above. The dealer could at any time changed my specs to what I wanted and dealer just refused. So above is what was ordered amd the cactus grey is what I should have got. The silver one is a basic run of the mill badlands on 33s with mid level infotainment interior and none of my build characteristics. Now ford says they can't make any changes and I will have to get a model year 2022

If you haven’t seen a silver Badlands with a soft top on the 33s, your missing out! It’s bad ass!! One of the best looking and capable Broncos out there in my opinion. Buy it, you won’t have any problem selling it for more than you paid. I doubt you will want to get rid of it once you get it tho.

That might be it. Hopefully it's the correct paperwork. From what I remember it was pretty much how you build it online thats how it was printed

I've never looked at soft tops. I think it's nice but to own it definitely not something I'd consider even with a discount. But selling it might be what I do just as a big fu to then for screwing me

This is the WBDO Order Summary. It’s generated from the ordering system, so it’s 100% accurate to what was entered into the system:

This is the standard for determining what was ordered. Anything short of this doesn’t mean anything… which you found out the hard way. :/

Lots of people run with soft tops in SoCal (IE), simply because of the lack of rain, so you shouldn’t have a problem reselling it locally, even if you don’t get the hard top prep kit.

@Evenflo1, Edson, too add to Zack's always helpful post I have another thought. In my conspiracy riddled mind (when it comes to shady dealers) they may be hoping you'll refuse delivery, giving them a change to sell it with an added dealer fee. So, if you can't get it straightened out per Zack's instructions, you could take possession of this one. Then you could order another Bronco (from a different dealer of course) to you specs, drive this one for awhile, and trade it for the new one when it arrives. I really don't think the big Bronco's are going to depreciate in price very much for a few years.
This is what I would do, id be super annoyed as you rightfully are. But I would drive the Bronco and have the one you want on order. Either sell or trade in the one they screwed up, at least they don't get to sell it and you get to enjoy a Bronco while you wait.

Soft top on 33s is my biggest issue as well as color. It kinda sucks a lot. I'm aware if how capable but mt t7 ranger Sits on 34s kinda funny to have a bronco on something smaller
So I know for a fact color can be changed after the VIN is assigned. Mine had to be as I had requested the change be made and the dealer drug their feet and didn't get it done and the VIN got picked up. They called their rep and got it changed BUT the dealership had to do it and it was done hours after my VIN was assigned. Mike Levine might still be able to help. But I would expect it to delay your build for sure. Mine was pushed back from 6/28 to 8/9.

So going and speaking with the ford bronco specialist I walked away in a better mood but highly disappointed in ford. He didn't know I was even walking in and he took me right into office he literally on a sticky board had my order hanging with all changes needed to be made. He also showed me email he received from for that he needed to change all his orders to soft tops and ford would later send them a free hard top kit.

Hopefully he re-reads the email from Ford. If he does that he is going to have many pissed off customers... like when some dealers converted reservations without permission.

Idk his representative sent him several emails that of which he showed me the representative wanted several orders to have unauthorized changes due to availability of certain items.
