Just got a call from my Ford dealer that my Bronco is being delivered today! Blend was 6/22, built 6/23, and should be able to pick it up today! They are saying they are being required to have a Ford service engineer inspect it first though.

And Just got another call that the truck made it to the Ford dealer!!

Do I wait for this Ford engineer to do his inspection, or do I leave work now?

Happy news! Take pictures. Nag them to do thorough inspection then take that sucker on a victory lap.

Patience! You have waited this long and you don't know what time the delivery is or when the service engineer will inspect it. Congrats!

Leave now. Stand very close behind him... like uncomfortably close.

Congrats, i’m really not sure why an engineer has to inspect it? It shouldn’t of left the factory if there were any concerns. I definitely get some answers if I were you.

I'd have camped out overnight at the dealer waiting for that truck to arrive, get over there! I'd be interesting in doing the inspection with them if they'll let you.

Take pictures - pics of the MIC if you got it. Ask to see the inspection report - I would level work now and see what the engineer is up to. Obviously, check o see that you will be able to pick it up today.

Let it sit a few days so the engineer can look at it.

The engineer has one ordered too and wanted to test drive a unit.

Others in the community might like to sit in it, drive it, see how their kids fit etc. before you take delivery.

:ROFLMAO: Kidding!

Dealers are supposed to be doing a pre-delivery inspection (PDI) on every vehicle they receive not just the the Bronco.

read the post. He said an engineer has to inspect the vehicle. Not a wash boy pulling the plastic off and checking the fluids.

Congrats! Did your tracker ever change? Or was this sort of out of the blue?
