Finally an opportunity to finally sit in a BRONCO. Pat Milliken Ford (My Dealer) had a Soft Top Rapid Red 4dr. Outer Banks 2.7L with LUX. Tried to get as many detail shots along with, look for it, the Tire & Load spec. Note this is the OB rating and as should added, subject to change.
My order is a 4dr Badlands and based on what I experienced today with the OB I will be proud to own a Bronco.

Thanks for all the detailed photos. I was surprised not to see blue stitching and blue grab handles.

See now that looks more like Race Red looks on the B&p.
And “since 1966”, gtfo

Interesting, removal of doors for off road use only? Has that always been the case with wranglers and just not enforced?

more just liability to cover Ford?

Yup! From the '19 wrangler owner's manual....

Interesting, 5-30 Oil. I was guessing 5-20. I've been hoping all my rigs would have the same spec, I currently need four different types.. After renewing my fleet, I'll still have two: 5-30 and 5-20.

I like the tan insert grab handles as I will get on my Sandstone BB.

I realize this is a Pre-Production vehicle but those pinch welds above the tube steps look horrendous! I hope Ford does a better job of tucking those up and in a bit on the production vehicles to hide that.

Agreed. I am going to use my FordPass bucks to get either the rock rails or plastic "Trail Armor" that hide the welds.

Thanks! I didn't know there was a button on the side of the shifter to manually up/downshift. Any current 10AT owners confirm you can do that while still in drive? In my current car I have to go into sport-shift mode to do that, so basically either choosing to manually shift or auto - not a hybrid of the two.
A current Ranger owner may want to chime in, but: Reading the Ranger owners manual and operating my late model F250 (6spd) the shifter must be placed in M to manually select gearing using the + - buttons. If left in D the - button may be used to limit the highest gear the trans will shift to. If operating in hilly terrain you can reduce the upper gear limit to say 9th or 8th to optimize performance and limit unnecessary upshifts. This feature is very handy on my F250

That is exactly what I am hoping for, there are many times while driving in the mountains and such that I just want to drop a gear for more torque without having to go into manual shift mode.

a member here posted a thread w/ a link about a deep dive into the 10R80 so i then investigated this 'new style' 10 speed. my assessment thus far is that there is enough anecdotal evidence of some type of 'issue or issues' to warrant Ford to investigate this, including an attempt at a porrly stipulated class action pertaining to this very tranny.

links below are how i came to my opinion based on reading the posts 1st by viewers then the reply to those posts(if any) of these attached links [then] watching the videos. do it this way b/c reading posters 1st offer insight for free!

these vids are fairly new as this tranny as built is also(regarless of what others it resembles).
it is rated, i think @540ft torque and Bronco is 400. the complaints that seem to get sweped under the rug by dealers are where they are uses the most> F150's. It's good that some vids show Mustangs w/ coyote engines beating on them as this will show the weaknesses and Ford hopefully make adjustments as needed before we get our BRONCOS. >> I HOPE...

p.s. whomever has a 10R80 that has zero issues LOVE them. I hope I am one, if these unsubstantiated claims are fact.

Thanks for the info. It is good to know. I wonder how many are produced a day (in vehicles off the assembly line) and how many failures there have been.
I chose to wait to reserve a Bronco so I would NOT get a 2021 unit because of things like this.
Hopefully all bugs are worked out by then as well as all production issues. Better interior colors would be great as well. Thanks again my friend!!!
