I optioned the roof racks because of the cost but don't care for the look. Any word on how easily removable they are? I'd like to have them but won't need them for 90% of my driving.

“Extremely” easy to remove… designed to be removed and installed quickly, in fact.

This video shows the process:

Yeah but the question is does that still stand with all the new top issues. Or has the "fix" been postponed till 23 with the Mod tops?

Either way, that clarifies that it’s a NEW RACK for 2021 and the roof/mounts are staying the same…presumably.

Does anyone know if the front cross bar can be mounted further forward? There appear to be screw hole covers in that area ... I have kayaks and would prefer a greater distance between cross bars.

The mid bar is bolted in. Looks like you can just move it forward 27 1/2". Here is a drawing I did awhile ago.
One thing about some of these removal videos for the MIC and roof rack is that they fail to state the mounting bolts torque settings.

Do you want to part with it? (the roof rack) Or anyone else within a day drive of Lake Erie?

While putting together my Bronco wish list; these roof rails and cross bars were on my list. Then I've been finding out I can't find it on Ford Accessories. Is this true? If I wanted these the only options is to buy these as individual parts? I want to take my Kayak places. Are there really no options for roof rails?

Thank goodness I was able to add the roof rack last minute. The $1800 vs $395 factory install is ridiculous.

wonder if there would even be a part number for that if it wasn't replaceable, why you looking for the stud?
