All 2.7's? No differences prior to 22. I'm just reiterating what techs from Alcon & Other working with Ford to find a fix told me. Hey, I don't know if it was a smoke screen or not just what I was told in my particular case.
If so, thanks for your clarification
Can confirm that All 2.7s have an electronic booster, I have an early '21 (Built mid July '21) and had the booster go out and it was fully electronic.

Probably wrong category, sorry in advance

Seen on the facezucker (grains of salt included)

Aluminum sure melts a lot sooner than steel.

I was going to post a joke about this story being fake because it's not an EV, but thought it was in bad taste...
I'll regret it for the rest of my life!

Fun fact with auto fires... it takes an average of 500-1000 gallons to extinguish a "traditional" car fire, and 20,000 to 40,000 Gallons for a EV!

I'm interested to hear what they cough up about the root cause, unfortunately, unless there's about 20 more of these, they'll probably say it's isolated. Glad to hear everyone exited safely

Strange that the brake system developed enough pressure to burst a line. Typically the burst strength of brake lines are many times higher than the maximum master cylinder pressure. Pretty sure that is a DOT requirement.

Itā€™s a sad story, but the cited cause seems pretty absurd to me. Engaging ABS wonā€™t over pressure brake lines, and the idea that the lines would rupture a while after engaging ABS is pretty silly. I certainly donā€™t want to criticize someone who went through that, but the cause stated seems pretty suspect to me.

Iā€˜m glad no one was hurt.

Exactly, a Facebook post is almost as good as "my dealer said"
Yes 2.7 always electronic booster.
Whole story sounds fishy.
