2021 Ford #Bronco

The perfect way to integrate one of the lowest rated OEM Amplified sounds systems. The B&O killer

8 Speaker active designed sound system by Kartunes fine tuned by JL Audio MAX 5 microphone design unit. This design features the following units

VX800/8i
Channels 1-5 (front stage) : Audison APK 3way (2-Tweeters, 1-midrange driver, 2- midbass drivers) are installed in factory location dash and kick panels. All speaker replacements parts are laser cut and built in house.

Channels 6-7 (rear fill) Audison APX coaxial

XD600/1 (Substage) JL Audio TW5 13.5” subwoofer. Bespoke Sealed enclosure built in house sprayed with weather resistant liner tagged with Bronco badging.

Integrating the factory signal into the aftermarket amplifiers via fiber optic signal from NAV-TV zen module lets you keep all oem features as far Bluetooth, Navigation voiceover, and parking sensors by playing through your new system with controllable volume.

I’m considering something similar. I’m trying to understand the zen. It can output to analog or digital. If you go digital you will lose the factory fader. Are there any other functions that differ between the two. Did you choose digital because it’s a cleaner signal?

Nice work, and super clean install! How does it sound?
It sounds really good. Of course it’s not a super audiophile setup. But it does now have the volume, the clarity and the bass. I will say doing the midrange driver on the dash helps a lot.

I mounted the xd on the opposite side of the amp board. At first I was stressed a little finding out I was limited to the space on the amp board. But I did see someone do something similar and I’m glad it worked out perfectly

The zen module is amazing. I have used the zen and the pac module. Big difference is sound quality. This time I used the digital output of the zen. I did make a preset with the VXI to have the rear a little more dominant than the front. But with the size and distance of the rear speakers, the trade off fading to the rear isn’t worth losing the volume front the front.

With two amps will you need to upgrade the stock battery and do the 'Big 3' under hood wire upgrades?

Now if you can just eliminate the Bronco road and wind noise you might be able to hear the wonderful sound that system can output.
Seriously, that looks like an awesome sound system and it looks to be a very professional and well thought out installation. I just don't understand the value of it being installed in a Bronco which is, by any measure, a noisy vehicle. But then again, as my favorite comedian Dennis Miller always says as he ends his rants, "That's my opinion but I could be wrong". ;)
