I've owned my Bronco for exactly a year now...and what a year it's been.
One year ago today I flew out to Kansas City to pick up my Bronco in Richmond, MO. I drove back to Colorado, taking a section of Route 66...and what an epic road trip it was.
I've put about 14,000 miles in the first year...in addition to the Route 66 trip, I've had it out to Moab, UT and Telluride, CO. I primarily use my Bronco to get me up in the mountains here in Colorado to go running mountain trails (I'm an ultra runner) as well as to go fishing in various back-country lakes and reservoirs. It's got a lot of miles in the dirt, mud and snow. I've not had a single issue on or off-road and I couldn't be any happier with my Bronco. It's exceeded all of my expectations over the past year and I plan to keep this beast for many years to come. I did purchase the 10yr/125,000mi Ford PremiumCARE Warranty which gives me peace of mind, years down the road.
Here are a few photos (from the assembly line, to the dealer and a few taken recently) as well as a 10-minute video going over the Bronco and what I love about it.

I love Estes!!! Try to go every year.Love the bumper, especially with the built-in fogs. Does everything I want it to do and it looks great...especially when adding a little color to the shackles.
Interior need a splash of color and this is what I came up with. The two mountains on the decals are actually mountains here in Colorado....Flatirons and Longs Peak. Just another easy way to personalize my Bronco.
Bumper was removed, then the pins to the shackles and out came the shackles. They were powder coated in Badlands Orange., along with the brake calipers.Sorry if this has been asked, how did you change the shackles on your capable bumper? (Or did you just paint the factory ones?)
Outstanding. Thanks for the suggestions!Enjoy the road trip. The following are spots near your journey which would be considerably less traveled. Tuweep on the the North Rim of GCNP. Spectacular views of the river. I also suggest trying to get into “The Wave,” which is part of Coyote Buttes North (BLM Land) on the Utah/Arizona border. It is by lottery only, but other-worldly. Both Tuweep and the Wave are accessible from Kanab, UT.
Cedar Breaks National Monument and Great Basin NP (on the Nevada/Utah border) are also great places to escape the crowds. Hitting these beautiful, but less crowded spots would extend your loop west between Bryce and Capital Reef NPs.
Be sure to do a quick detour at Page to see Horseshoe Bend. You also might consider a westward detour from Mesa Verde to go to Monument Valley, before dropping down to Petrified Forest.
Roadtrips in the west are the best!!

I have a friend that runs a shop who did all the work. My Bronco was the first in the shop, so they were excited to work on it. Had them powder coat a few things, tint front windows, paint protection film on the entire front end, add retro stripes and fully ceramic coated.Ok thanks. I was one of the first on here to get a capable bumper (also a year and 2 days ago), there was a thread discussing the capable shackles, I think everyone thought the pins couldn't be removed.
Did you do it yourself? I've had my bumper off plenty, just haven't messed with the shackles.
Actually, the wienermobile got a picture with my Bronco.A picture with the wienermobile?! So cool!![]()
That is so cool. If you were in CE then you were assigned to GOLD in medical and I probably did your PHACorrect. We were actually there at the same time...I got there in 1999 (PCS from the Pentagon) and was there until 2002. Was deployed twice...right after 9/11. (Egypt the first deployment and then off to Kyrgyzstan weeks after I got back from Egypt) Loved my 3 years there. Not sure if you remember, but Richard Petty visited the base in 2022. I was the person who won a national contest...I won Richard Petty for the day. lol Here are a few photos...he spent time at my house on base and signed my Bullitt Mustang...still have the Bullitt today!
Thank you for your service!

Hiked it once (R2R) in Sept of 2020 and it took longer - we took our time - great experience! I saw some dude running it, similar to you @Bullitt, R2R2R. Y'all crazy! Thanks for the suggestions! I just may head to Sedona as well.
I've been to the Grand Canyon several times...I ran R2R2R twice in 2021. Not sure if I'll run it again this year, but if I do, I won't have much time to explore with the Bronco. Here's my Strava info from one of my runs in 2021. Such an incredibly beautiful and challenging run.

Thanks, I just ordered my screaming goat! ! I will enjoy it, as it looks like you are enjoying yours!I simply attached a velcro patch on the bottom of the goat and the dash...super easy.
