being as we're talking shop... pertaining to having to recirculate the crank case gasses through the turbo cooler and subsequently the t/b, I was considering a performing a mod for inline filtration of these volatile organic gasses, but not have it be too intrusive and laborious as a 'catch-can' instillation.
I have concluded theoretically that the Husky 'Air Compressor Filter' which is specifically designed to remove contaminants such as dirt and compressor oil from hoses before reaching the equipment[link below].
If this is a sound concept it should increase engine and turbo(s) performance by keeping the gas and therefore the detonation as close to spec.[octane] as possible by reducing the amount of recirculated crank gasses.
p.s. although the 2.7L engine is a gen 2, it may also reduce pre-valve gumming if any should occur.
