Checked to be sure, but yes the T/B is electronically controlled. BBK sells an aftermarket 65mm one for around $500... (F-150) https://www.americantrucks.com/bbk-65mm-throttle-body-27l-1517eco.html
ah ha! thanks for that[again].

being as we're talking shop... pertaining to having to recirculate the crank case gasses through the turbo cooler and subsequently the t/b, I was considering a performing a mod for inline filtration of these volatile organic gasses, but not have it be too intrusive and laborious as a 'catch-can' instillation.

I have concluded theoretically that the Husky 'Air Compressor Filter' which is specifically designed to remove contaminants such as dirt and compressor oil from hoses before reaching the equipment[link below].

If this is a sound concept it should increase engine and turbo(s) performance by keeping the gas and therefore the detonation as close to spec.[octane] as possible by reducing the amount of recirculated crank gasses.

p.s. although the 2.7L engine is a gen 2, it may also reduce pre-valve gumming if any should occur.

The tube doors are also nixed. I've come to accept that what is shown at the shows are just concepts. It really is a disappointment. But it isn't the first (CG 4-dr white top).
I dug and dug, but couldn't find any actual citation that the tube doors were canceled. The link you referenced previously mentions only the donut doors:

"Someone from here asked about the donut doors yesterday. They will not be available at all."

Roll the donut and tube money into Wimbledon White paint for the modular roofs. Ford will recoup the lost money and B6G will melt the internet...perfection!

Demonstration of tube doors and front seat tilt.

Note: the seat does return to its original position.

After perusing the pictures of the frame I was wondering who if anyone would be planning on treating the frame with something like Eastwood Internal Frame coating? The old an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure axiom. I know in the Jeep world this is a fairly common practice to prevent the frame from rusting inside out.
