Yeah, sorry, forgot to mention that. I always lock the rear end.thanks. I'll take all the tips I can get.
Oh--and fill up at the Citgo on the left on the way in...
My rear end locks; any reason to enable that?
I just got back from a week at Corolla Beach. When I went on the beach it was high tide. As mentioned the sand was soft and deeply rutted. I drove till the beach narrowed and went uphill between two dunes where I bogged my manual down and stalled. I looked at my wife and said "oh no" but she drove right up the hill without spinning at all. Glad I aired down and used sand mode.
My Wife and I made a run up to the VA border on the North Carolina Beach of Cordova. Saw a whole bunch of our Bronco brethren out on the beach. My arm is tired from Waving, lol. A whole lot of fun today.

Stunning pics! Thanks for sharing this with us!Was just down in Kill Devil Hills two weeks ago. Didn't get a chance to drive the Bronco on the beach, but did drive it down to Hatteras with the top back. Friends hauled their boat down there so we got a good sunset one night in the inlet.
Congratulations on your Bronco.aw, yer killin' me! We didn't make it this year, and we just got our Bronco (noobs to 4WD completely), and now I'm desperately looking forward to our trip next year...
