is there any worry of paint wearing at these install points?

This would really only be a concern on the V1 Roll Bar Hooks since the V2 Speaker Mount Hooks butt up to the plastic on the speaker housing and the rear of the hooks is just a support piece. They could leave a mark in the clear coat if you don't install them secure enough and allow them to wiggle back and forth. I think one member here said he put some felt behind his hooks just to make sure it didn't leave any marks on his.

Well guess this was a good luck charm for me! Got these in the mail Saturday and just got a text from my dealer a few minutes ago with a build date for 2/14/21 and my VIN!!
